Choosing the size
Measure your dog lying on their side, fully stretched out, from nose to the base of the tail, then add roughly 10 cm. A dog that curls up tightly can take a size down; one that sprawls across the floor should take a size up.
What this is not
It is a breathable mat, not a chilled pad. There is no gel, no water and nothing electrical — it works by letting air move, so it will feel cooler than a padded bed but it does not refrigerate.
On a hot day it is not a substitute for shade and fresh water, and it will not prevent heat stress on its own. If your dog is panting hard, drooling or unsteady, get them somewhere cool and call your vet.

Does it actually go cold?
No. There is no active chilling in it, and we will not suggest otherwise. What it gives you is a breathable surface to rest on, not refrigeration.
Can I use it outside?
Only somewhere shaded and protected, and bring it back in afterwards. Keep it off hot ground and out of direct sun.
Which size should I get?
Compare the listed dimensions with the space your dog takes up lying naturally, and leave them room to turn over.
