Keep two fingers flat between the tape and your dog. Snug enough to stay put, with room to move comfortably.

Use a flexible tape. If you only have string, mark it and measure the string against a ruler.

Let them stand naturally
Measure while your dog is standing, with their weight even and their coat sitting normally.

Measure the right place
Keep the tape level and follow the measurement point shown for the product below.

Check before you choose
Repeat the measurement once. Between sizes, choose the larger size and use its adjustment.

Measure around the lower neck, then around the widest part of the chest directly behind the front legs.
Use both numbers when checking the chart. The chest measurement usually decides the fit.

Prioritise free shoulder movement. Do not add extra centimetres unless the chart asks for them.
